Woody Allen has used his own Facebook page to release the trailer for his delayed film A Rainy Day In New York.
The 83-year-old’s latest movie started life as an Amazon project, but the website pulled the film amid Woody’s resurfaced #MeToo allegations and he is now suing them for $68 million over their decision.
In the trailer, Selena Gomez, Elle Fanning, Timothee Chalamet and Diego Luna find themselves in kooky romantic entanglements as a downpour hits the Big Apple.

In the 1990s, Woody was accused of molesting his then seven-year-old adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow, an allegation he consistently denied.
Although the court did not find enough evidence to proceed with charges, Woody was denied custody of all his children, and the ruling stated that his ‘behavior toward Dylan was grossly inappropriate and that measures must be taken to protect her.’
In the decades since, Dylan has maintained that she was abused, and has been supported in this by her mother Mia Farrow and brother Ronan Farrow.
As the #MeToo movement picked up in 2017 and 2018, the case regained public attention, to the point that multiple actors apologized for working with Woody.

Amazon eventually pulled the film, but French company Mars Films will release the movie in theaters in the Fifth Republic in September, France 24 reports.
Woody sued Amazon in February for scrapping, in the words of his filing ‘four separate deals with’ him over ‘a 25-year-old, baseless allegation,’ according to the New York Times.
Amazon has maintained that it was ‘justified in terminating’ its arrangements with Woody, the New York Times reported in April.
