Ruben Amorim is said to have reached an agreement to replace coach Jurgen Klopp and lead Liverpool from next season.

According to Sky Sports , Amorim agreed to a 3-year contract with Liverpool. The Anfield team is rushing to complete the paperwork before the Portuguese military leader signs the contract.

The Premier League club and Sporting Lisbon are negotiating the final steps to get the deal approved.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said Amorim is the number one candidate for the hot seat at Anfield. Meanwhile, The Athletic confirmed that Liverpool’s board of directors admires the young captain’s talent.
