Selena Gomez Shines on London Stage, Trading Teen Queen Image for Leather Hotpants Glamour

She has two exclusive shows lined up in London this weekend to showcase her latest album. Despite the focus being on her music, Selena Gomez’s bold outfit stole the spotlight when she graced the stage at the revamped Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday evening. With her performance featuring songs from her current album Stars Dance, Selena amazed the audience with her appearance in tight leather hot pants. The 21-year-old artist paired the bold shorts with a casual white top and sheer tights, creating a stylish urban look with the addition of chunky gold chains around her neck.

Selena rocked the stage in her stylish mid-length black boots, adding the perfect finishing touch to her performance. Hits like Come Get It, Slow Down, and Love Will Remember were all part of her energetic set that had the crowd on their feet.

After jetting in from Paris, the talented young star is in the UK as part of her Stars Dance world tour. She excitedly shared the news with her massive following of 17 million Twitter fans on Saturday. Just hours before her sold-out shows in London, she greeted her fans with a simple “Hi London” on social media.

When she’s not busy with music, Selena has been busy promoting her new movie, Getaway, where she shares the screen with big names like Ethan Hawke and Jon Voight. Unfortunately, despite her hard work, the thriller didn’t quite hit the mark at the box office. Critics weren’t too kind either, giving it a pretty rough reception after it came out in the US on August 30.

In an interview with the New York Daily News, Selena opens up about how difficult it is to brush off all the rumors and gossip about her personal life, especially since her last serious relationship was with Justin Bieber.

“It does affect me,” she expressed. “I’m only human and I can’t help but feel hurt when people spread lies about me. It’s a terrible feeling because most of the time, it’s not even true.”

“In my everyday life, I simply drive to the grocery store and pick up some food. But in the world of media, it’s exaggerated into something secretive and scandalous. It can be overwhelming, which is why I surround myself with good, trustworthy people. I’m quite selective about who I let into my inner circle,” she added.

“The hardest part is finding someone who will genuinely love me for who I am at my core, without any ulterior motives,” she concluded.
