She is an Academy Award-winning actress and accomplished film director.
But in recent years Angelina Jolie has garnered a lot of attention and recognition for her work as a humanitarian, philanthropist, animal lover and family woman.
And on Saturday, the 43-year old decided to keep things low-key with a one -on-one outing to a pet store in Los Angeles with her daughter, Shiloh.
One-on-one family day: Angelina Jolie and daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 12, went shopping for a new pet in Los Angeles on Saturday
Even on a casual day, the screen siren looked amazingly chic as she walked out of the store dressed in an all-black ensemble that consisted of form-fitting black pants and a black button-down shirt that hung off her body several inches past her waist.
She rounded out the outfit with a pair of knee-high black leather boots, dark sunglasses and had her long dark brown tresses pulled back into a bun.
As the mother of six oozed sleek-elegance, her 12-year old daughter opted for a more casual look in brown cargo shorts and a grey hoodie as she carried out her new pet.

The attentive mom kept close to Shiloh, who’s father is superstar actor Brad Pitt, as they headed through the parking lot and towards their car.
At one point, Angelina put her hand on her daughter’s shoulder and gave a glance, and a hint of a smile, to the photographer.
There was no telling what new pet they bought, although kittens are a common purchase that are put inside of the box that Shiloh was carrying.
