She recently announced plans for her first-ever global tour – and Jennifer Lopez made sure to end the South American leg of her trek with a bang last night.
The singer took the stage in Recife, Brazil, flaunting her famous six-pack abs in a dazzling gold and silver sequinned track suit. Braving the rain in the outdoor arena, the hard-working mother-of-two ripped open her hoodie, revealing the chiselled results of her gruelling dance routines on the 48-show Dance Again tour.
Wearing a sequinned New York baseball cap, her brunette locks soaked from rain and sweat, the 42-year-old star grabbed her gold microphone and continued with her set despite the downpour. Her dancers – a group of equally-chiselled men – didn’t waver either, and joined the singer on stage as the crowd roared.SPOILERS ( click to view )Clearly happy with her performance, the star took to Twitter to thank her fans for braving the bad weather with her.
‘Unforgettable night in Recife to end our SA tour!! Eu amo Brasil! Y GRACIAS a todos los JLOVE!RS por todo SA!! LOS QUIERO! Hasta la proxima!’ she wrote. The show came days after Jennifer announced her original 48 shows in South and North America would been extended to Europe and the Middle East this fall, marking her first-ever global tour.
She wrote in another tweet: ‘Hey LOVE!RS!!! It’s official — the #DanceAgain tour is going global! Check out the dates for my WORLD TOUR!’ The star is expected to join her younger boyfriend, dancer Casper Smart, again on the road. The 25-year-old was promoted to head choreographer shortly after they began dating in December of last year following her split from husband Marc Anthony.
