Jennifer Lawrence was spotted in New York City on Tuesday, sporting a stylish cheetah-patterned teddy coat as she took a stroll with her husband, Cooke Maroney.
Her strawberry blonde locks cascaded down her shoulders, while she added a trendy touch with sunglasses and natural makeup. Meanwhile, Cooke kept it casual with a black jacket adorned with white trim, paired with a navy blue sweater, black jeans, and stylish grey sneakers. The couple, who exchanged vows at the enchanting Belcourt Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island in October, appeared happy as they enjoyed their time together in the bustling city.
Absolutely breathtaking: The talented 29-year-old performer appeared effortlessly stylish yet again, donning a chic brown blouse adorned with exquisite gold buttons. She paired this lovely top with a sleek pair of black skinny jeans that accentuated her figure flawlessly. Completing her ensemble were some fashionable leather boots that perfectly matched her attire. This lovely outing was enjoyed alongside her beloved husband, with whom she has shared four incredible months of marriage.
In February of this year, they made their engagement official after dating for eight months, as confirmed by a spokesperson at that time. Cooke is employed at Gladstone Gallery in New York, which proudly represents noteworthy artists such as Carroll Dunham (the father of Lena Dunham), Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, and Matthew Barney (Bjork’s former partner). Prior to his current position, he had the opportunity to work at the renowned Gagosian gallery. Although he is now deeply ingrained in the social circles of New York, Cooke, much like his soon-to-be spouse, was raised in the countryside. His formative years were spent on his family’s farm in Vermont.
Relaxed: Cooke opted for a laid-back look, donning a sleek black jacket accented with white details. He paired it with a cozy navy blue sweater, black denim jeans, and stylish grey sneakers.
Maroney’s father had a career as an art dealer in Manhattan and held a prominent position at Christie’s Auction House, specializing in American Paintings. Eventually, the family made the decision to leave the city and move to the countryside.
Although Jennifer and Cooke have maintained privacy regarding their relationship, insiders have expressed admiration for their strong connection. In fact, a source revealed to People in August that Jennifer appears happier in this relationship than with any of her previous partners.
Jennifer’s upcoming project involves collaborating with Oscar-nominated director Adam McKay on his comedic film, Don’t Look Up, which will be released on Netflix. In the movie, she will portray one of the two “low-level astronomers” who embark on a global media tour to warn humanity about an imminent asteroid threat capable of destroying the planet, as stated in the official press release from Netflix.
Shining Star: Jennifer (spotted in Paris last September) is joining forces with acclaimed filmmaker Adam McKay for his latest uproarious comedy flick on Netflix titled Don’t Look Up.
Lawrence has been confirmed to star as one of the two astronomers in an upcoming film. The production is set to kick off in April, and Netflix plans to release it later this year.
McKay, the director of the movie, has written the script himself and will also serve as a producer alongside Kevin Messick through his company, Hyperobject Industries.
Expressing his excitement, McKay stated, “I am absolutely thrilled to collaborate with Jen Lawrence on this project. She possesses the kind of incredible talent that was highly regarded even in the 17th century.” He further added, “The fact that Netflix envisions this film as a global comedy sets a really high standard for me and my team, which is both thrilling and motivating.”
Lawrence recently concluded filming for an untitled film by director Lila Neugebauer under A24. Additionally, she not only stars in but also produces this film through her production company, Excellent Cadaver.
McKay, the talented writer-director, is set to take the helm as both the director and scriptwriter for the upcoming project. Alongside these roles, he will also bring his producing expertise through his very own Hyperobject Industries company, in collaboration with Kevin Messick.
