On Sunday, Harry Potter alum Emma Watson officially made her directorial debut helming her very own commercial for Prada Beauty’s Prada Paradoxe, the new refillable fragrance.
‘Why should I be framed? Boxes are always too small. I celebrate my imperfections. I do my days in joy,’ the 32-year-old Parisian-born Brit said in the voiceover.
‘Yes, sometimes I am afraid. But my dreams pull me to the other side. I am partnered with life itself. I am never the same. But I am always myself.’

The outspoken feminist’s one-minute and 30-second advert included a dramatic shot of her snorkeling to the surface.
Emma is also seen seated at the center of several computers while wearing a virtual reality helmet.
It’s unclear what the Italian luxury fashion house’s new perfume actually smells like as they have not yet released the list of ingredients.
‘When Prada asked me to be the face of their new fragrance campaign, I asked if I could direct it,’ Watson – who boasts 129.9M social media followers – wrote last Thursday.
‘Months later, and I’m able to share the results of the faith they shared in me, with all of you. I can’t wait to share this piece of my art, and hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
‘I could never have done this without my unbelievable team of collaborators. Thank you for your time, commitment, talent and passion.’
