Scarlett Johansson shows off her stunning hourglass figure in a corseted gown at German movie awards

Hollywood is full of female celebrities doing their best to slim down for red carpet appearances and on-screen roles.

So it comes as a refreshing change to see Scarlett Johansson stand out from the crowd by showing off her stunning hourglass figure at an awards ceremony in Berlin, Germany.

The 27-year-old actress teamed the sexy black corseted halterneck gown, which featured a crossed over detail on the back, with a pair of silver drop earrings as she walked the red carpet at the 47th Golden Camera Awards at the Axel Springer Haus.

Scarlett wore her hair up for the occasion, in a chic waved chignon, and opted for dewy, simple make-up with smoky eyes and plum-coloured lipstick.

But there was no sign of Scarlett’s latest accessory – her new boyfriend, as she posed on the red carpet.

It was revealed recently that Scarlett has started dating advertising executive Nate Naylor, and the pair were spotted enjoying an intimate date in New York recently.

A fellow diner at the restaurant told Life & Style magazine: ‘They were very comfortable and happy together while eating.

‘He also shared some food with her, which was very nice. They were definitely acting like boyfriend and girlfriend.

‘It was all very natural, Scarlett and Nate couldn’t stop smiling.’

Another witness added: ‘They weren’t in a rush and seemed relaxed, they sat in the back corner.’

But it seems Nate may have made the decision not to travel to Europe with his new girlfriend, who went solo on the red carpet for the event.

Scarlett was honoured at the event as she took home the International Actress award, while Denzel Washington won the International Actor prize.

It was announced yesterday that Scarlett is set to star alongside Mark Ruffalo in the indie musical drama Can A Song Save Your Life?

The pair, who can soon be seen appearing together in the big-screen action adventure The Avengers, will take the lead roles in the new film from Once director John Carney.

Scarlett will play a country girl who moves to New York in a bid to make a name for herself as a singer.

However, after she is dumped by her boyfriend, she takes a singing job at a bar where she is then discovered by a music producer, played by Ruffalo.

Other winners at the event included Dionne Warwick, who received the lifetime achievement award, and Dutch jazz singer Caro Emerald, who won the best music international prize.

The Golden Camera awards are the most prestigious ceremony n Germany, with an estimated 4 to 6million locals tuning in to watch the awards when they are broadcasted live on television.
