Jennifer Aniston Embraces Minimalism in Strapless Little Black Dress at People’s Choice Awards 2024 to Honor Adam Sandler With Icon Award

Jennifer Aniston wore her signature all-black style to the 2024 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The actress attended the event to present the Icon Award to her longtime friend Adam Sandler. She also won the Female TV Star of the Year award for her work in “The Morning Show.”  

The actress skipped the event’s red carpet but showed off her look onstage. Aniston wore a black minidress with a strapless silhouette and a ruched asymmetrical miniskirt. 

Aniston is known for wearing black dresses at red carpet events and award shows. In 2019, she attended the premiere of “Murder Mystery,” in which she costars with Sandler, wearing a sleeveless leather minidress by Celine. Last year, the actress wore a black Atelier Versace halter minidress to the premiere of “Murder Mystery 2.” 
The star presented Sandler with the People’s Icon Award, which is given to individuals who have made a significant impact on the entertainment industry. In 2024, Sandler was chosen to receive the honor in recognition of his decades-long comedy career and iconic film roles, which have left a lasting impression on audiences. 

Past recipients of the People’s Icon Award include Aniston, Ryan Reynolds, Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Lopez and Halle Berry.

The People’s Choice Awards, which solicit votes from fans and the general public, originated in 1975. The 49th annual ceremony takes place on Feb. 18 at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles. Hosted by “Barbie” star Simu Liu, the award show’s categories span multiple pop culture mediums including music, television, film and sports.
