Entering the match with Liverpool, MU suddenly showed a transformed face with a pre-emptive attack style of play. The “Red Devils” soon created some scoring opportunities but unfortunately missed them.

In the second half, MU still played hard and did not give up in front of The Kop. But it was not until coach Erik ten Hag’s adjustments when he put Antony and Amad Diallo on the field that things really changed. 

In the 87th minute, Antony skillfully managed and kicked with his non-dominant foot to help MU equalize. The result of 2-2 was also the final score after 90 minutes and forced the two teams to enter extra time. 

In extra time, Liverpool continued to take the lead thanks to Harvey Elliott. The “Red Devils” once again showed their bravery by scoring two consecutive goals from Rashford and Amad Diallo to win.
