EMMA Watson has been spotted in Glasgow – after she visited a west end community centre.

The Harry Potter star dropped into the Heart of Scotstoun for a book drop – and enjoyed a portion of homemade chips.

Emma, 31, is one of a number of famous faces who have flocked to the city during COP26.

The well-known bookworm popped into the Heart of Scotstoun, based on Balmoral Street, to leave a copy of All We Can Save for one lucky reader.

The book is a collection of writing and poetry by 60 women involved in the climate movement, and was widely praised upon publication last year.

And Emma stayed at the community centre for some grub, tucking into a plate of chips.

Heart of Scotland shared a snap of the Hollywood star beaming a huge smile as she stood alongside one of the workers who has organised the book drop.

They wrote: “You’ll never guess where @EmmaWatson gets her chips… homemade none the less.

“Mhairi was very excited and received the first book from her book drop. Thank you for popping in!”

Local Labour councillor Eva Murray shared the photo, commenting: “So great to see @EmmaWatson checking out the amazing Heart of Scotland today.”

And Amanda, who works at Heart of Scotland, wrote: “Look who popped in today!

“@EmmaWatson thanks for coming down, eating totties from @FareShareGWS using food that would have otherwise went to landfill.”

Emma shot to fame aged just 11 when she starred as Hermione Granger in the first Harry Potter film.

She has gone on to rake in millions from the wizarding film franchise, where she played the best friend of Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry and Ron Weasley, played by Rupert Grint.

Following the conclusion of the blockbuster series, she has been a part of several huge movies, including playing Belle in Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast and starring in the 2019 adaptation of Little Women.

Away from the big screen, Emma is known for her activism and is an outspoken feminist and was appointed UN Women Goodwill ambassador.

Ahead of COP26, she was one of 400 signatories of a letter calling for the UK Government to include women in “decision-making roles” at the climate summit.

And she has recently arrived in Glasgow to make her presence felt during the conference.
