Madison Beer’s memoir The Half of It is set to be released on Tuesday, April 25.
The singer, 24, looked nineties chic in a brown and taupe plaid blazer with a matching vest and skirt as she was seen leaving Good Morning America on Monday in New York City.
She wore black tights and shiny black slip-on shoes, adding a coordinating handbag over one shoulder.
The pretty brunette rocked gold hoops with vintage inspired sunglasses on the crown on her head.
The stunner blew a kiss to her fans as she left the studios following her book tour promotional stop.
During her appearance on Good Morning America, the star talked about her decision to include in her book that she had previously had suicidal thoughts on two different occasions.
‘I think mainly I felt really alone during a lot of these periods. And there are so many people that I’ll meet. I have an Instagram that’s kind of private and I talk to my core fans on and I’ll meet some of them and they’ll tell me how much things like that and opening up about mental health stuff has helped them.’
Adding: ‘So I figured why not do it on a bigger scale. And not just keep it for the small amount of people so I don’t know I just wanted to make someone feel less alone in their potential hard times.’
When asked by a fan if she ever gets overwhelmed and if so, if she wishes she could put everything on pause.
‘It’s important to be honest about these things… I got signed on really young. I was only 12 when I started all this out. So I think growing up in the industry a bit so I was told to kind of put on a brave face and not let anyone know that things get to you or that you get tired… maybe want a break. As I’ve gotten slightly older, I want to be transparent with people.’
‘It’s ok to take a break, it’s okay to be overwhelmed. It’s ok to say no. And make time for yourself. And I know that might sound silly to some but it’s important and I want people to know that,’ she added.
Madison is gearing up to release her memoir; the 24-year-old teased the release of The Half of It, which will hit bookstores April 25.
She was later spotted in a little black dress and stocking while heading to a Barnes & Noble store in New York City to promote her new book.
The songstress wrote on Instagram: ‘My memoir, The Half of It, will be yours April 25th. It feels truly surreal to be announcing this book and I am so excited to share my story with you in a way I never have before.’
‘From the reality of being signed at twelve, to everything that followed, where I am now, and my journey of reconciling with everything that came before.’
