According to MARCA journalist Juan Castro, star  Brahim Diaz has decided to represent the Morocco national team . Diaz was born in Malaga to Spanish parents. The Real Madrid player dreams of playing for Spain, but he has not received any call from head coach Luis de la Fuente.

Because he was tired of waiting from La Roja, Diaz decided to play for the Morocco national team. According to sources from Juan Castro, President of the Morocco Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa tried to convince Diaz. 

Diaz once played for Spain’s youth teams. However, the 24-year-old star has no connection with the national team. La Roja’s coldness and indifference created conditions for Morocco to acquire Diaz.

This season, Diaz left his mark in the Real Madrid shirt. The player born in 1999 scored a classy goal, tearing the net against RB Leipzig in the Champions League. 

Diaz is eligible to play for Morocco as his grandfather Brahim Diaz Abdelkader was born in the North African country. Another famous star of Spanish origin who plays for Morocco is Achraf Hakimi.
