And Elizabeth Olsen appeared in high spirits as she attended the Build Series to discuss her new show at New York City‘s Build Studio on Wednesday.

The Avengers star, 29, cut a stylish figure as she donned a crisp white shirt, tied in with a pair of light-wash denim jeans.

At the Build Series event, Elizabeth spoke about signing up for the role: ‘I got involved with the project three years ago – I usually read two or three scripts a week.’

‘It’s hard to give a response when you’re already filming so many other things, but when I read it, I fell in love with the character, I was going through a transition in my life so I could relate in a simple way.’

The forthcoming show released its first trailer on Tuesday, and is set to hit the social media network’s video-on-demand service on September 18.

‘I was on line yesterday and it said that if your spouse dies, it feels like losing $308,780 a year,’ Olsen informs a group at the beginning of the trailer.

The Kill Your Darlings actress portrays the role of Leigh Gibbs, a young widow who is dealing with recent loss of her husband Matt, played by Mamoudou Athie, 29.

The trailer then digs back into wistful moments from their all-too-short relationship.

Also starring in the upcoming series are Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘s Kelly Marie Tran in the role of Elizabeth’s sister, while Janet McTeer plays their mother.
