Jay-Z spoke about his parenting style during an interview with The Sunday Times, where he expressed that he and his wife were committed to making sure that their children understood that their parents were supportive of their efforts.
‘Feeling loved is the most important thing a child needs…as long as your child feels supported, and feels loved, I think anything is possible,’ he said.
The performer then noted that he and Beyonce had to come to terms with the fact that their kids would grow on their own and develop their own personalities.
‘It’s easy for us, as human beings, to want our children to do certain things, but we have no idea. We’re just guides,’ he said.
