The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said that 110 ancient tombs have just been excavated in the Koum El Khulgan archaeological site in Dakahlia province, Nile Delta, about 150km northeast of Cairo. Archaeologists unearthed 68 oval tombs dating from the Predynastic period of Egypt from 6000-3150 BC, 37 rectangular tombs dating from the Second Intermediate period ( Second Intermediate) of Egypt when the Semitic Hyksos ruled ancient Egypt and the five oval tombs date from the Naqada III period around 3200-3000 BC. Inside these ancient tombs, in addition to the remains of adults and children, archaeologists also found burial goods and pottery.
