Real Madrid’s legendary coach returns after 3 years of absence?

Zidane attended a screening of a documentary about former Italy and Juventus coach Marcello Lippi and discussed his future.

The French coach has been closely linked with the Bavarians, after they announced they would part ways with Thomas Tuchel at the end of the 2023/24 season.

During the launch, Zidane praised Lippi through Gianluca di Marzio: “He is my coach, above all he brought me to Juventus.”

“I come from the experience in France, it was a bit difficult for me to prepare, but in the end he made me play. So for me, it’s not just the coach, it’s also what made me who I am.”

When asked if he would return to coaching, Zidane said: “Why not, anything can happen. I’m doing other things now, but we’ll see – I’m sure Definitely want to return to the coaching bench.”

The 51-year-old strategist has been absent since leaving Real Madrid in 2021 and his return has been the subject of media attention since then.

It remains to be seen whether the Real Madrid legend will decide to return to action at the end of the season. If he decides to return, it seems that Bayern Munich will be a bright candidate to get the French strategist, besides Liverpool – the team also has a vacant captain position after Jurgen Klopp’s decision to part ways.
