Carlo Ancelotti claims that it is up to Luka Modric to decide whether he wants to continue at Real Madrid after this season or not

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti refused to comment on Luka Modric’s contract extension at Real Madrid because he believes the decision is in the player’s hands. The veteran midfielder who has played for Los Blancos for the past 12 years has less than 6 months left on his current contract.

Speaking to reporters, the Italian strategist said: “We celebrate with Luka because he deserves it. He scored a great goal to help us get 3 points and bring much more value. Luka has freshness. He showed that it is difficult to leave the team. His role on the bench is important not only because of his goals but also because of the way he trains Practice every day.”
