Of course, Dave Bautista would do an excellent job playing the Kurgan in the upcoming film. However, his casting would also be exciting because it would mean that audiences would get to see Bautista face off against Henry Cavill on the big screen. Bautista and Cavill are known for their superhero and action roles, but they have never worked together on a movie before, and that’s an oversight that must be rectified. If Bautista is cast as the Kurgan, the long wait for the Highlander remake might be worth it.
