The Real Madrid legend is close to returning to his home club

The management of the football club Dynamo Zagreb has expressed its desire to bring back the legendary midfielder of Real Madrid, Luka Modric. This was reported by the publication Sata 24.

According to the source, the club’s president, Mirko Barisic, personally contacted the Ballon d’Or winner to offer him a return to his native club in Croatia.

It is noted that Modric reacted positively to this proposal, however, he has not yet made a final decision about his future. It is emphasized that the 38-year-old footballer and the president of Dynamo remain in constant contact.

Modric’s current contract with Real Madrid is valid until June 30, 2024, with an annual salary of 22 million euros.

Modric played for Dynamo from 2002 to 2008, appearing in 79 matches for the club, scoring 24 goals, and providing 21 assists.
