OFFICIAL! Toni Kroos returns to play for the German national team



On his Instagram account, Toni Kroos posted: “I will return to the German team this March. Because the coach made me an offer and that is something that makes me feel very happy. I’m sure that when I return to the team at the upcoming EURO, my teammates and I can do more than what most people think of at the moment!”

Kroos made 106 appearances for the German national team from 2010 to 2021, scored 17 goals and was a key member in bringing the 2014 World Cup championship in Brazil to the German national team. He retired from his international football career after facing a lot of criticism for his performance at EURO 2020, a tournament in which the German national team had to stop in the 1/8 round.



The German national team will have two friendly matches against France on March 23 and host the Netherlands on March 26 in Frankfurt.
