Kylie Jenner faced backlash for her ‘disturbing’ party
KANYE West has turned Stormi and Aire Webster’s co-birthday party into a costume party – as he showed up in a Jason Voorhees mask.
But judging from some fans reactions, the party may have ended up turning into a horror show.
Kanye and wife Bianca Censori were reportedly invited by Travis Scott to Stormi and Aire’s party.
And they made quite an entrance.
Kanye sat in the passenger seat as Bianca drove their Toyota Mega Cruiser.
The pair were fresh from the set of the rapper’s new music video.
Kanye was spotted wearing his favorite new accessory – a Jason Vorhees hockey mask, inspired by the killer character in the Friday the 13th film franchise.
The Vultures rapper was first seen wearing the mask last week at the grand opening of a luxury streetwear store.
On Friday, Guillermo Andrade, co-founder of store 424, held the grand opening of his flagship retail store in Melrose Place, Los Angeles, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
The Donda rapper attended the event with the white mask covering his face.
With his eyes peeking out of the holes, the Flashing Lights singer paired the mask with a zipped-up black leather jacket and matching pants.
He also covered up his hands with black masks.
The rap star strutted across the store in black boots.
Kanye’s horror mask may have fit right in at Stormi and Aire’s party.
Their mom, Kylie Jenner, faced backlash for hiring disturbing entertainers to perform at her the birthday party.
Kylie, 26, was slammed this weekend after photos and videos surfaced from the birthday party she threw for her daughter Stormi, 6, and her son Aire, 2.
The reality star hosted a theme-park-inspired soiree for her two little ones whose birthdays are just one day apart.
Clips from the event showed full-sized carnival rides, tables covered with treats, pink LED lighting, and large jump houses for kids to play.
Fantasy-style clouds floated above the room and black lights created the appearance of stars on the walls.
Attendees played games and sipped drinks with Stormi and Aire’s custom cocktail napkins.
However, some of the decorations raised a red flag among Kylie’s followers online.
At the entrance to the carnival-themed party were two massive blow-up figures of Stormi and Aire’s heads in a gray shade.
Guests were invited to walk through what appeared to be the little girl’s mouth to enter the event.
On either side of the huge balloon head structures were large colorful balloon bouquets, placed to mimic hair beads.
Similarly, once inside the soiree, dancers were hired to perform while wearing a huge bobblehead designed to look like Stormi.
The little girl’s features were blown out of proportion and appeared cartoonish on the strange figure.
Fans were appalled by Kylie’s decision to use such entertainers, claiming the costume was “terrifying” and not fit for a children’s party.
“Wtf lmao,” one wrote on Reddit, opening up the conversation.
“This legit is going to give me nightmares,” a second remarked.
“A freaking giant inflated mouth of my face and a mascot of me would be so freaking weird and out of place for my poor but relatively normal childhood,” a third claimed.
“Seriously. What kid wants their birthday theme to be themselves? None do! She probably wanted Princess Tiana. Stormi doesn’t even look like this anymore! and who the heck is listening to Travis Scott? Lol,” a fourth slammed.
“These kids have a trash life honestly. Their parents’ money is working overtime to torture them. Smh,” a fifth complained.
“That’s disturbing af,” a sixth wrote, while a final agreed, “This is legitimately creepy wtf.”
