A lavish North Dallas estate that hit the market last summer with an almost $11 million price tag has just changed hands.
The Strait Lane mansion has been called The White House of Dallas and sits on more than three acres. The 16,041-square-foot home has 14-foot ceilings, a 2-story entry foyer with French limestone flooring, a wine grotto, a home theater and a full catering kitchen.
Out back, you’ll find a six-car garage, tennis court, bath house, outdoor kitchen and, of course, a koi pond.
“The buyer saw it online and flew into town to see it in February,” agent Becky Gruber with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate said in a statement. “It went under contract shortly thereafter.”

The previous owners spent two years remodeling the big house, which has four bedrooms and nine full and half bathrooms.
The mansion was built in 1996 and was one of the priciest home listings in North Dallas.
The agents aren’t saying how much the grand spread traded for.
It was purchased by Dallas businessman Toby Neugebauer.
Since 2001 the house has been owned by Dallas businessman Ralph Oats and his wife Cathy. In 2014 it was on the market for $19.5 million.
“There are currently three other properties in MLS listed for over $10 million in Preston Hollow and the Park Cities that are under contract,” Gruber said. “Two of them went under this month.”
Through April, 464 North Texas homes priced at $1 million or more have changed hands, according to real estate agents.
