Jennifer will soon be teaming up with Oscar-nominated director Adam McKay on his new Netflix comedy movie Don’t Look Up.

Golden girl: Jennifer (seen in Paris in September) is teaming up with Oscar-nominated director Adam McKay on his new Netflix comedy movie Don’t Look Up
Lawrence will play one of the two astronomers, with production slated to begin this April, and Netflix is expected to release the film later this year.
McKay is slated to direct from a script he wrote himself, and he will also produce through his Hyperobject Industries company with Kevin Messick.
‘I’m so thrilled to make this movie with Jen Lawrence. She’s what folks in the 17th century used to call “a dynamite act,” McKay said in a statement.
‘And the fact that Netflix sees this movie as a worldwide comedy sets the bar high for me and my team in an exciting and motivating way,’ he added.
Lawrence recently wrapped filming on director Lila Neugebauer’s Untitled film for A24, which she stars in and produces through her Excellent Cadaver company.
