A Regal Touch: Gal Gadot’s Revelation of Drawing from Princess Diana for ‘Wonder Woman’

Star Gal Gadot revealed that she found inspiration from Princess Diana – who is always remembered by the public for her compassion and empathy.

“I remember watching a documentary about Princess Diana and there was a part where many of the characters in the film said that she was compassionate and always cared about others. That’s also what the character Diana Prince in Wonder Woman is aiming for,” Gal Gadot said in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine.

Wonder Woman 1984 – the sequel to Wonder Woman released in 2017, released in December 2020. Just days after its release, Warner Bros. announced that a third part is in development. Female director Patty Jenkins will once again continue to direct this film.



“As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, we are delighted to be able to continue her Wonder Woman story with Gal Gadot. The third Wonder Woman part has been planned for a long time,” said a representative from Warner Bros. – Toby Emmerich said.

After the 2021 Golden Globe Awards at the end of February, Gal Gadot announced she was pregnant. Gal Gadot married Israeli businessman Yaron Varsano in 2008 and they have two daughters together. Last September, the duo celebrated 12 years of being together.
