Aussie icon Robert Irwin is celebrating his 22nd birthday today.

The young wildlife warrior, who was just named the winner of the latest season of Dancing With The Stars US and taking home the mirrorball trophy, has received an abundance of well wishes from family and friends alike.

His sister Bindi Irwin, 27, shared a sweet throwback video from the time Robert was born alongside a gushing tribute to her sibling, who she used to call Brian when she was little.

“BRIAN!!! Can’t believe you’re already 22. Where does time go?! Love you so much,” she wrote.

She added: “Being your sister is the best. @robertirwinphotography.”

Australia Zoo also shared a tribute to Robert on their official X account.

“Crikey he’s 22! Sending all our birthday wishes to @RobertIrwin on his special day,” they wrote.

“He achieved so much at 21, we cannot wait to see what’s in store for him this next year [croc emoji].”

Underneath, fans sent their well wishes to the star.

Just last week, Robert was named the winner of the coveted mirrorball trophy on Dancing With The Stars US, alongside his dance partner Witney Carson.

Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy were the runner ups.

He was even congratulated by royal couple the Prince and Princess of Wales following the win, with the pair writing underneath one of Robert’s posts about the win.

“Congratulations Robert and Witney! ✨,” the pair wrote.
