We’re constantly updating our Last Night’s Look gallery with all the best red-carpet moments (gorgeous dresses! dazzling accessories! sky-high heels!). Now, let’s talk beauty. Each week, we’ll be highlighting one of the most gorgeous makeup and/or hair moments, along with details on how to recreate the look — straight from the makeup artist or hairstylist — in our feature, Look of the Week.
Red carpet newcomer Gal Gadot
has blown us away (she does play Wonder Woman) all week with show-stopping beauty and style looks for the many stops on her press tour for the new action flick, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. But our current favorite? A gorgeous (and glowy) moment from the N.Y.C. premiere, where her she radiated from head to toe in an embellished Balmain minidress. We’ve got all the scoop on the star’s super-luminous, superhero beauty look, straight from her makeup artist, Matin Maulawizada, below!

“I saw photos of the dress the day before and proposed a ‘monochromatic-ish’ palette for the face since the dress had a ton of embellishments and I didn’t want to make the look too busy,” Maulawizada tells PeopleStyle. “I wanted to give [Gal] a look that was all about luminous, silky-looking skin from head to toe.”
And to get that glow, Maulawizada started with the skin by smoothing on Baszicare Alitus Biotic Plumping Serum on her face, neck and décolleté to “increase hydration and added radiance,” and followed it up with a tinted moisturizer (NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Malaga) in a slightly deeper shade to “push her skin towards tan” and for a little extra coverage.

“The finish on the skin is a big decision when doing makeup,” he tells PeopleStyle. “And for someone like Gal, who has even and gorgeous skin, I wasn’t about to overload it with foundations and powders. Also, I wanted a satin finish — not oily — all over, and certainly didn’t want matte.”

Maulawizada then moved on to the star’s cheeks, where he “wanted lots of bronze but also a flash of color,” so he relied on Dior Glow Powder Blush, which he applied on the apples of Gadot’s cheeks for a subtle flush.
As for the star’s lips, Maulawizada kept the texture silky smooth with a pale pink NARS Satin Lipstick in Sexual Healing, making sure not to leave a shiny or glossy finish.
And the actress glowed all the way down to her toes (literally!), thanks to a light coating of Votre Vu Silk Stockings applied just before hitting the red carpet — one of her makeup pro’s red carpet rules for finishing off any look!
