Advertising of the week: Intertop, Rozetka.ua, Dior, Sergey Polunin and Jennifer Lawrence

Intertop cracks nuts with its shoes, Rozetka.ua rolls turn green, Comfy demonstrates its fashion, Balmain shows off a new jacket in a public toilet, and the Audi Q8 crossover drives endlessly to the terminal of the Odesa Sea Trade North.


Intertop

The new collection of Intertop shoes was subjected to strict production: nuts were cracked with it, they were sunk into an aquarium, unless they were sunk into space. So the company, together with Vandog Agency, decided to show the readiness of seasonal updates for autumn-winter cataclysms and other extreme situations. If, of course, the visit to the disco, depicted in one of the videos, belongs to these.


Rozetka

Kolobok Rozetka.ua nogreens. In the strictest sense of the word. Before the renewed identity, in which literally everything will be done – from a mobile application to clothes, carriers, cars and even containers – the largest marketing company of Ukraine released a video presentation in which it was shown all this. Comfy

At the end of March, the Comfy chain of household appliances and electronics stores received an updated style and branding, the central element of which was “nush”. According to the company and Banda Agency, which is behind the creative idea, the new hero “symbolizes happiness and makes the brand come alive” . But to what extent this idea was understood by the novices without diving into the philosophy of “supermaterial” is still unknown. Apparently, the video that must be given has only now become widely distributed.



Balmain

Ukrainian ballet dancer Serhii Polunin became the face of the advertising campaign of the French fashion house Balmain. For 17 seconds, the dancer shows off the signature Balmain jacket, squirming in a public toilet and sticking his head out of a hand dryer. Those familiar with the work of the famous ballet dancer will not be surprised by such a staged aesthetic – Polunin, known for his scandalous marriage, even wears the nickname Enfant terrible (“terrible child”). The clip became part of a series of brand collaborations with the working title “The World as a Musical Instrument”.

Audi

The British filmed an advertisement for the new Audi Q8 crossover in the terminal of the Odesa Sea Trade North. The atmosphere of unity is created by the Odesa Philharmonic Orchestra, performing the culminating part of the “Requiem” by Giussenna Verdi – the grandiose “Dies Irae”. Do the English know that this melody is the theme of the Last Judgment – history is silent. The clip was broadcast on TV throughout Europe and has already collected over 260,000 views on YouTube in two weeks. +1 to the piggy bank of a beautiful advertisement shot on the territory of Ukraine.

Dior

The French fashion house Dior, the charming Jennifer Lawrence and the popular “hit” of The Rolling Stones and the “rainbow girl” are three components of a video that can be watched endlessly. 21 million views in just two weeks on Youtube and only 800 dislikes from unknown haters, so no confirmation. The advertised aroma itself proved to be indicative – Joy became the first independent launch of the brand in the last 20 years. The video was narrated by the namesake of the actress, Frances Lawrence, who acted with her in the films “The Hunger Games” and “Red Sparrow”, so he knows exactly from which angle it is more profitable to show Jennifer.
