According to Deadline , Jolie’s outfit in the film is based on the original outfit Callas wore in real life. The manufacturer consulted with animal rights groups, including PETA, about using vintage fur items from the archives of costume designer Massimo Cantini Parrini. The film crew decided not to use the new fur costumes.
