Kanye West failed to drop his collaborative album Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign this past Friday (Dec. 15), but his spokesperson told Billboard that he has a new release date. The elusive album will arrive Dec. 31 on New Year’s Eve.

Vultures has been the talk of the genre these last few weeks, considering West’s controversial remarks and numerous clearance issues. Kanye’s anticipated “Everybody” record, which samples the Backstreet Boys 1999 hit “Backstreet Back,” was reportedly not cleared. In addition, last week, Nicki Minaj failed to grant West’s request to clear their 2018 collaboration “New Body.” During her Instagram Live, Minaj responded to a text message she received from West regarding clearance, and the Queens MC denied him the opportunity.

“Now regarding Kanye, that train has left the station, OK?” she said. “No disrespect in any way, I just put out a brand new album. Now why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on guys. You know?” West responded to Minaj’s rejection at a Vultures listening party, saying, “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for ‘Monster.’ I supported her career.”

At the same listening party, West went on a lengthy diatribe where he namedropped several celebrities, including Jay-Z, Drake, Travis Scott, and Donald Trump. “Who you think the old man call? When we put Drake on stage, who you think the old man call? You know what I’m saying. Drake, this is what you been waiting for. Jay-Z, this is what you been waiting for. Adidas, this is what you been waiting for. Kim, this is what you been waiting for.”

Vultures drops Dec. 31.
