Alien mummies have once again returned to the media spotlight, this time with factual evidence supporting the authenticity of the bodies.
On November 6, 2023, Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan brought together a group of doctors and scientists to present new data on Peruvian mummies, which show potential signs of non-human life forms, while refraining from confirming that the remains were extraterrestrial.
During the Second Public Hearing on Regulation of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, experts in the field shared their research work and personal experiences related to this intriguing topic. The hearing was attended by several professionals, including Jesús Ángel Guevara Madrigal, Air Controller of Mexico; Rafael Arcángel Berrocal Ramos, lawyer; Thierre Maurice Pierre, a researcher at the Inkari Institute in Cusco, Peru; Roger Zúñiga Avilés, who led the investigation on behalf of ICA University in Peru, as well as Peruvian legislators and other researchers.
On September 12, 2023, the Mexican government hosted a historic hearing on UFOs, organized by the Science and Technology Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, where they heard for the first time about Jaime Maussan’s Peruvian mummies. The small mummified specimen was recovered in Cusco, Peru, in a layer of diatomaceous earth. They are believed to be a thousand years old. “These are not beings that were found after the wreckage of a UFO,” Maussan said, “they were found in diatom mines and were later fossilized.” He later added: “Whether they are aliens or not, we don’t know, but they were intelligent and lived with us. They should rewrite history… We are not alone in this vast universe; We must embrace this reality.”
After nearly two months, Maussan was more focused on proving the authenticity of the alien mummies. Maussan and other experts say the specimens have been tested and considered
“non-human beings who are not part of our terrestrial evolution.”
He said, “None of the scientists say [the study results] prove they are extraterrestrial, but I’ll go further,” suggesting it could be evidence of non-terrestrial life forms.
Scientists have previously said that the bodies displayed at UFO hearings in Mexico were usually assembled from human and animal bones. Recently, a new study was conducted on two bodies and found that each of them belonged to a single skeleton. According to José de Jesus Zalce Benitez, director of the Mexican Navy’s Scientific Institute of Health, studies showed that the alleged bodies belonged to a single skeleton and were not assembled.
On August 1, 2019, the Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, Peru, received four desiccated bodies exhibiting characteristics of both humans and reptilians. These specimens were transferred safeguarding the confidentiality of the source of information, in accordance with the provisions of article 2, item 18, of the Peruvian Constitution. The purpose of the delivery of these bodies was to ensure their custody and preservation and to facilitate research aimed at elucidating the authenticity of these dissected specimens.
One of the bodies known as “Maria” is approximately human size but has distinct anatomical variations. It has an elongated skull and three fingers and toes. Examination of the bones revealed a consistent structure, devoid of any indication of injury to the fingers.

The smaller bodies, measuring approximately 60 cm in length, have a morphological and anatomical structure markedly distinct from that of humans. Its skin has morphological and histological features reminiscent of reptiles, with hands and feet with three digits. Notably, they possess bulky skulls, and their bone and joint system deviates significantly from human anatomy, exhibiting unique and sui generis atypical features.
It is important to emphasize the absence of rigid or metallic elements for union and support in the joints of the entire body. Given the extraordinary nature of these bodies and the pronounced anatomical and structural disparities, more comprehensive research is imperative for a deeper understanding of their essence.
Celestino Adolfo Piotti, a physician in medicine and surgery and founder of a special branch of anthropology in Argentina, said he came to this conclusion by studying X-rays of skulls of non-human beings. He compared them to his theory of evolution, called the “guardian theory,” which disagrees with Charles Darwin’s theory.
“The final numerical result it gives me is that they are not individuals from the past or the present, but rather from the future, so it means that these two beings, Maria and these two 60-centimeter-tall beings (the ones that Maussan presented), “They should have existed in the future and not in the past a thousand years ago,” he said.
The researcher acknowledged that the scientific method cannot answer the conclusion he reached. However, he asserted that non-human beings are “the link of our human species that goes back to a new species… The lower beings would be a complete evolution of a species that will come after us, in short, they would be our descendants.”
Thierre Maurice Pierre, a researcher at the Inkari Institute in Cusco, Peru, said the analysis concluded that non-humans date back thousands of years and that their DNA is not human. However, he clarified that this does not necessarily mean that they belong to extraterrestrial beings.
“The laboratories concluded that these bodies were centuries old, even millennia. The DNA of these beings does not belong to the human species. For this reason, the laboratories will talk about at least two unknown species. I want to insist on this important point: none of the laboratories mentioned extraterrestrials,” he said.
Anthropologist Roger Zúñiga Avilés of the San Luis Gonzaga National University in Ica, Peru, said the researchers studied five similar specimens over the course of four years. “There was absolutely no human intervention in the physical and biological formation of these beings,” he added, claiming to be unaware of the origin of the beings.
Zúñiga submitted a letter signed by 11 university researchers stating the same. The letter made it clear, however, that they did not imply that the bodies were “extraterrestrials.” According to Reuters, “When asked about these studies, Zúñiga said the specimens were likely fake. The bodies he and other researchers at the university examined, however, were real, he said.
After thorough investigations, the research team conclusively determined that the dissected bodies under study are entirely biologically authentic. There is no evidence of tampering or artificial assembly. The scientific approach has been meticulous and these results further affirm the authenticity of the bodies.
The Mexican UFO hearings in September came after the U.S. Congress conducted its hearings, where U.S. intelligence officer David Grusch testified that the U.S. government has intact alien craft and claimed that “non-human biological products” were recovered from crashed vehicles of unknown origin. He further claimed that the Pentagon was secretly reverse-engineering the recovered craft, without oversight from Congress or the U.S. public.
