Superstar Lionel Messi has shared notable stories related to football and family

Recently, part of a documentary about Lionel Messi was broadcast on television. Here, the Argentine superstar shared many things about his love for football as well as his family life.

The World Cup champion admitted that since starting a family, football is no longer a top priority. “From a young age, I had a special passion for soccer and it was something I was especially interested in until I welcomed my first child. As the world’s top player, Messi has to go through a busy schedule, often even playing away from home. However, the 2022 World Cup champion still tries to arrange time for family.

“We have to practice every day. However, I also want to spend time with my children. In fact, I had to miss many things because of competition schedules. I just try to be with my children as much as possible and fulfill my duties as a father”, Messi said.

At this time, Messi has been able to spend more time with his wife and children since moving to Inter Miami. Football has also become an important part of Messi’s family.

“The children, like me, were introduced to the ball early. My children love playing football and have interesting experiences with it”, Messi added.

Messi’s eldest son Thiago is currently enrolled in Inter Miami’s youth academy. Messi currently has 3 children: Thiago (11 years old), Mateo (8 years old), Ciro (5 years old)
