During the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023, Tom Cruise was awarded the Best Performance in a Movie thanks to the blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick. Even though he was not present At the awards ceremony, the male actor still had a very special award reception.
Specifically, in the video shown at the ceremony, the audience witnessed Tom Cruise flying a fighter plane in the sky. In the back seat of the plane is the MTV Awards’ signature popcorn trophy.
“Thank you so much for this award,”, Tom Cruise said while flying the plane, “I made this movie for everyone. I love being able to entertain people. And the fact that you guys love the movie and appreciate it makes me feel more wonderful.”
