Ariana Grande Performs Alongside Mariah Carey In A Festive Off-The-Shoulder Minidress As She Announces Her Return To Music

Ariana Grande delighted her fans with a plethora of surprises this week! To start off, the Grammy winner, 30, graced the stage for her first live concert performance in years with the accompaniment of Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson in New York City over the weekend.

Fans can’t seem to get enough of her ravishing and fiery red A-line minidress featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline, paired with sleek sheer tights and her signature powerhouse vocals in her live collaboration with Carey, 54, and Hudson, 42. As a bonus, Grande also just gifted fans with a revamped “naughty” rendition of her 2014 festive hit, “Santa Tell Me.”

In addition to this, the “7 rings” hitmaker signed on with a new manager, Brandon Creed, for his recently launched management firm, Good World Management, as reported by multiple outlets this week.

Back in August, Grande made headlines when she parted ways with her longtime manager Scooter Braun‘s SB Projects. As her fans are well aware, this all means that new music from the “Dangerous Woman” singer is highly anticipated and could be on its way soon!

Ariana Grande Simmers In Fiery Red Minidress On Stage At Madison Square Garden

In a memorable event on December 9th, Carey took her “Merry Christmas One & All!” Tour to Madison Square Garden, where she was joined on stage by fellow pop sensations Grande and Hudson.

The trio debuted a live collaboration of Carey’s popular Christmas anthem, “Oh Santa!” It was first released featuring Grande and Hudson during the holiday season in 2020 and was also notably included in Carey’s “Magical Christmas Special” that year.

The three performers skillfully traded verses and harmonized, impressing the audience with their seamless performance of the festive tune. The moment was captured in fan-shot footage from the concert, marking the first time the three vocalists had performed the song together in person.

Not only did Grande’s vocal prowess draw in spectators at the concert, but her style also caught their eye, as evident from fan responses on social media. The “positions” singer flaunted a sizzling crimson minidress that accentuated her waist and showcased her legs.

To elevate her look further, the r.e.m. Beauty mogul and style icon paired the dress with red opera-length gloves, sheer tights, scarlet pointed-toe pumps, an elegant pearl necklace, and matching dangling earrings. As for her glam, she tied her platinum blonde tresses into her signature slicked-back high ponytail.

For her makeup look, she rocked black winged liner, sky-high lashes, shimmering eyeshadow, rosy blush and a classic, Old Hollywood-esque red lip. On X (formerly Twitter), many fans praised her soaring high notes while singing and her chic get-up.

“Ariana looking like a Christmas doll… she’s so pretty,” one wrote as another added: “her first time on stage since 2021 and she’s SERVING WTF.” Someone else replied: “red is so her color!” During the performance, Carey also had a stunning style moment in a curve-hugging silver minidress and Hudson wowed in a glitter-adorned LBD with a fur-trim hemline and dramatic sleeves.

Fans on social media are also loving Grande’s new “Santa Tell Me – Naughty Version” single with new lyrics that are fun, flirty and NSFW. Grande provided a subtle hint in late November about her upcoming festive re-release. She shared a few sneak peeks from the music video shoot of “Santa Tell Me,” which was shot nine years ago, in celebration of its anniversary.

In her post, the Wicked actress expressed her excitement for the season and reminisced about the old song. The original “Santa Tell Me,” peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 last year. However, with her new, more provocative version, she might be aiming for a higher position in 2023.

Being a seasoned Christmas music aficionado, Grande has released two holiday EPs: 2013’s Christmas Kiss and 2015’s Christmas & Chill. Additionally, she has collaborated with several artists on winter-themed tracks, the most recent being “Santa Can’t You Hear Me,” which she sang with Kelly Clarkson.

Overall, there’s certainly a lot for Arianators to be excited about this holiday season!
