Cardi B threw the microphone straight into the audience when water was splashed on her
Female rapper Cardi B had a strong reaction, slamming her microphone straight into an audience member when he threw a glass of water at her.
The incident happened on Saturday night during a concert in Las Vegas, USA. While performing the hit song Bodak Yellow , Cardi B was splashed with water by a fan standing near the stage. Shocked by this action, Cardi B – who is a hot-tempered person and often “doesn’t tolerate grievances” – immediately stopped, looked straight at the person who attacked her and threw the microphone onto this audience member’s shoulder.
Immediately after that, the security guard ran down and asked this person to go out while another employee picked up the microphone for Carid B. The whole incident happened so quickly that the audience standing around were surprised. Cardi B then regained her composure and continued performing.
Cardi B’s representative as well as the event organizer currently refuse to comment. A few hours later, Cardi retweeted a video of the confrontation with the caption “Jealous Ass Bitch”, referring to her new single with husband Offset called Jealousy.
Cardi B’s violent reaction to being splashed with water took place in the context of many singers being repeatedly attacked on stage in recent times. Earlier this month, Bebe Rexha had her phone thrown at her, leaving her face bruised. Country music singer Kelsea Ballerini was also hit in the eye by a bracelet thrown by the audience. Last week, a fan threw a vape at Drake’s arm during his concert and rapper Lil Nas X had a sex toy thrown at him. During a music night in Vienna, singer Harry Styles was also hit in the face by a flying object, causing him pain.
In June, 29-year-old singer Ava Max was even slapped by an audience member after this person suddenly rushed onto the stage. That same month, Pink was shocked when a fan threw a bag containing their mother’s ashes onto the stage.
During a concert, indignant at the situation of singers having things thrown at them by the audience, Adele declared: “Dare to throw something at me, I will kill you.”
