F1 NEWS 🔴 FIA and F1 Issue Major Announcement Following Hamilton 2021 Report

The statement continued:
“We are implementing a series of rule changes and protocols for future races. These include clearer guidelines for the race director, standardized procedures for the safety car and other critical moments, and increased oversight to ensure that decisions are made impartially and in the best interests of the  sport. Our goal is to restore the faith of fans, teams, and drivers in the fairness of Formula 1 racing.”

Race Director Oversight: The role of the race director, particularly Michael Masi, has been a topic of intense scrutiny since the events of Abu Dhabi. The FIA has announced that it will increase oversight of the race director’s decisions. This will involve the introduction of a second race director who will work in tandem with the primary race director, ensuring that all decisions are cross-checked and adhere to established protocols. This is seen as a move to prevent any single individual from making controversial, sole decisions that could impact the championship.
