Real Madrid’s hero admitted that he did not think he would score a “kickback” goal in the quarter-final first leg win over Juventus 3-0 last night, April 3.

Ronaldo’s “anti-reverse bicycle” masterpiece was performed in the 64th minute, marking a double for the 33-year-old superstar. That was also his 22nd goal in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, one more than the entire Juventus team’s achievement at this stage in history since the tournament’s inception in 1992.
Commenting on Juventus fans standing up and applauding the masterpiece, Ronaldo admired: “It was an unbelievable moment. I want to thank the Juventus fans because they did something particularly impressive that I have never experienced in my career.”
Despite having a big advantage with a three-goal difference and playing the return leg at Bernabeu’s home field on April 10, Ronaldo still called on his teammates to be cautious. โThe Champions League is Real’s tournament. I always enjoy playing football in this tournament. The results in the first leg were great, but we need to be careful in the second leg,” he added.
